My software seems to be fine in that the HUD is working and hands are being imported. However, my tournament results are not being recorded. Every tourney I enter is recorded as a loss even when I place in the money. What do I need to do to fix this?

That sucks. I hope this gets fixed soon. This is a pretty obvious feature that needs to be part of the software.

it's nothing to do with pt on stars; it's the fact that the stars software doesn't write the summary unlike full tilt; unless you request it...

I'm trying to import text files with my tournament results e-mailed from Stars, but when I save the text file in the Poker Tracker 3 folder, the file is not read when I try to manually import them. I've tried various text file formats, but none of them are working. Which text format do I use if I copy the tournament results using Word software?

straight notepad ANSI, remove ALL leading spaces; the import doesn't work with them...

Yes, just use notepad so you don't get any formatting.

I understand that this is quite high on the list of priorities once the HUD stability issues are ironed out.
For now, there is also a workaround, see Tournaments FAQ.
