this is starting to get really annoying

I'm using vista and last week my pt3 kept saying on start up 'poker tracker was unable to connect to any postgreSQL databases, please make sure you have postgreSQL running'. So i went through all the posts on here and set nyself as administrator, re-installed postgresql and done everything step by step about 5 times and then eventually it worked.
Now after five days of playing the message has come back even though none of my settings have changed and in task manager it says postgresql is running, ive also tried disabling firewall and rebooting, i just dont understand how its not working again when the problem had been resolved.
Any help would be appreciated because i'm growing extremely tired of trying to constantly having to try and sort this out

What firewall are you running?

There should be a free upgrade available to upgrade to Norton 360 version 3. Norton 360 version 2 causes significant problems for PostgreSQL.
