postgres failing to install

so I posted about how postgres.exe was crashing earlier. I didn't have a big database so I un-installed everything (including PT-3) and re-installed the latest version. Right when PostgreSQL was almost finished installing it failed and said I might not have full permissions on my computer to start the service.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had been running PT-3 for a month without any issues prior to this.

If you are using Vista then Disable 'User Account Control' (UAC).

Did you FULLY uninstall postgres as described in this guide: How to reinstall Postgres?

If you did and you still can't get it working you can schedule a remote assistance session where someone can logon to your computer with you and directly troubleshoot/resolve the issue.
