PostgreSQL install problem

trying to install PostgreSQL and got this message: Error writting to file C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.3\bin\postgres.exe. Verify that you have access to that directory. What does that mean. Thanks

Have you installed PostgreSQL before?
That error would normally suggest that Postgres is already running.
Are you having problems? What are you trying to do exactly?

If you already have Postgres installed you will need to uninstall it before you can re-install.
