I am just trying PT3 after a long time and it wont work.

I have deleted PostgreSQL and i just downloaded 8.3 .

right now it is asking me for a password and i cannot remember it. It gives me this: Invalid username specified Logon failure: unknown username or bad password.

what do i do?

Click Start --> Run type in cmd and hit enter. At the command prompt type:
net user postgres /delete
hit enter. It should say the command completed successfully. Now enter whatever password you want and the installer will tell you the user doesn't exist, so just say yes to create it (and ignore the password is weak warning if it comes up). You'll be able to continue your installation from there.
