Unable to connect to this database.

Postby deelo » Wed Apr 07, 2010 12:18 am

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

I have Hold Em Manager installed and tried out their trial for a few days. Now I want to try out PT3's trial for a few days so I can decide on which program to purchase. I have PostgreSQL 8.4 installed (installed at the time I installed HEM).

I installed PT3 and upon first run I get "Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration." I have left the default values of localhost, 5432, postgres, dbpass.

Any suggestions?

I believe they use a different password. Try 'postgrespass' and see if that works. If it doesn't, try following the steps of this tutorial and whatever password you enter won't matter.

Then please follow the guide that Kraada linked to remove the need for passwords.

I just checked the link I gave you is correct - you don't see anything when you go there?
