nope,still same.
As you can see i tried to change password to "trust",according to a manual,perhaps something went wrong at that time??

just to be exakt,this is what pop up when I try to start pt3


"configure PostgresSQL...

postgr... server information

database pt3 2010..............161301

server localhost user postgres
port 5432 password ......

create cancel

if i press create,another box pops up

"unable to create postre... database
reason,unable to log in to databas (template1) reason server closed to connection unexpectedly, this probably means server terminated abnormally before or whle processing the request"

Right the problem is that PostgreSQL isn't starting so PT3 cannot connect to it. Having it be trust is fine, it just means that the password isn't necessary.

Try running this program then rebooting that may fix things.
