When it says "Populating" it means that PT3 is actually formatting the report; the SQL query is run during the time it says "Loading".

Is that the same for tab loads? Like when yo uboot up PT and the tourney tab shows and the player list is populating for 5 minutes?

OK then what is the limiting factor(s) for why it takes so flippin long to load that list the first time?

Also, it seems that the *this month* filter takes much longer then specifying the precise between dates for the month

Honestly I'm not sure - but you attach a log to a ticket highlighting that problem we can look at the timestamps and see where it's stuck, then go from there.
