Problem with remote postgresql-server

I have set up a postgresqlserver so that i can acces the database remotely too.
It all works except that sometimes some subwindows in the PT3 Interface just shows "Unable to connect to -Servername-"
while others do display the information their supposed to show perfectly.
When i hit the refresh button, sometimes the window that displays the error changes,
sometimes more than one window shows it and sometimes none.

I thought it had to be related to some timeout constant, is there a way i could overcome this error?

I've used a remote server almost exclusively for the life of PT3 and I've never experienced the error you describe. Please open PT3 with the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu and reproduce then report this problem so that we can investigate whether the issue is on the PT3 side of things.
