Doubled checked the permissions via terminal and it says that the permissions are 777: full rwx access

yup. I'm a bit confused by all this; I didn't think FAT32 supported permissions

It doesn't - at least, it doesn't in the same way.

If you go into the Console (in Applications -> Utilities) are there errors there with any more (or different) information?

yeah there's one saying "exited with exit code:1" it later says, "no such file or directory" and that it's postgreSQL 8.4, I'm using 9, I don't think I uninstalled it properly. Do you want me to reinstall postgreSQL to the boot camp directory with this console running and take screen shots of anything interesting?

Actually what I'd like to do is schedule a remote session with you and log in and see this machine directly - I think it'll be easier when I can see what's going on directly. If that's something you'd like to do, create a support ticket using this link and mention that I wanted to set up a remote session with you per this thread and we'll schedule something.

Once the session is complete I can certainly do that.

^ this will probably take another week, I'm trying to have two different window partitions running and am going to have to format the one currently running

No problem, whenever you create the ticket we'll put you on the schedule.
