Yes it does - nothing has changed there, why do you ask?

I thought (for some reason) that PT3 forced me to upgrade to 8.4 a long time ago.

Im reinstalling my machine and have decided to go back from Postgres 9 to either 8.3 or 8.4

For some reason I always though8.3 was faster

So I figured Id try 8.3 again

In theory I think there are supposed to be minor speed improvements in 8.4 over 8.3 but either will work for our purposes just as well.

Thanks

In that case Ill give 8.3 a go and may well upgrade to 8.4 if there is no noticeable speed increase.

TBH I didnt really notice any increase between 8.4 and 9.04 but in the back of my mind I always thought there was a dip between 8.3 and 8.4.. may well just be me imagining it but Ill give it a go first.

Thanks

I'm personally using 9.0 at this point and can't say I've had any complaints about it.
