Error while installing Postgresql

If i run the installation, there comes allways this error:
There has been an error.
Error running
C:\Users\bruger\AppData\Local\Temp\postresql_installer\validateuser.exe "." "postgres" "****": Program ended with an exit error code

I was running the installation with the standard settings and im running a standard windows 7 version

Try creating a new folder on the root of the C drive and installing to that folder (e.g. C:\PostgreSQL\ ) and that may well work better for you.
