OK try this:

Start -> programs -> Postgresql -> pgAdmin

Do File -> Add Server.

enter a name "computer A" for example.
enter in host "192.168.1.l2"
defaults should be fine for everything else.
check "connect now" if it isn't already

Click OK

see what happens?

I suspect it means that Comodo isn't setup correctly for this purpose. Been a while since I've used Comodo. I'll install a copy of the latest version and see what it looks like nowadays. You should be able to set it up to basically trust any local Lan traffic, and right now I don't think it's doing that. You can also just open the specific ports required, but I usually find it simpler to have unfettered access within the Lan itself.

Give me a few minutes.

1) What version of Comodo? I'm assuming it's 3.x, but just want to verify.
2) When you installed Comodo did you just take all the default options, or did you change anything? There's a question upon install about local networking. If you took the defaults then you're local network is not open as far as I can tell.

It would help if I knew what you had configured in Comodo currently.
