Unable to create Postgre SQL database

Hi, I finally installed PT3 with PostgreSQL 8.3 on my Computer, my operating system is Windows Vista.

So I switched off the UAC and ran PT3 as administrator.

When PT3 comes down to the 'Configure PostgreSQL Database' tab I am always getting this errormessage.

Actually I am not getting the "Failed to initdb" error message.

Is postgres still running? Can you see postgres processes if you open Task Manager -> Processes?
If not, try Start -> Programs -> Postgres -> Start Service.

Yes WhiteRider the postgres processes are running :*(

Hmm. Sounds like a permissions issue, but I don't really know enough about postgres or Vista, so I'll try to get someone who does to have a look at this thread..

What version of PokerTracker are you using?

Try manually downloading and installing PostgreSQL 8.3.3 and see if you run into the same problem.

If you are still having trouble, send me a message via the Support system and request to schedule remote assistance with me where I would logon to your computer and resolve the issue.

Hi APerfect10, I am using the beta 15 and i downloaded the WITH PostgreSQL file.

Manually installing PostgreSQL made it run.
