Password do not get accepted when installing PostgreSQL?

Postby mivara » Sun Nov 30, 2008 9:13 am

I just wanted to install and establish PT3 on a new computer of mine but I now face some difficulties when trying to install PostgreSQL.

The "Service User" with password and the "Database User" with password are set to its default ones but in the end of the downloading an error message comes up telling me that the password is too short or not complex enough. I do not know which one of the passwords it means though.

Then I tried to change the password(s) to far longer and more complex ones but it does not help at all.

What can I do?

If you install the 'PT3 with postgres' version it will do all that for you.
If you need to do it manually for some reason you need to create a password with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one symbol.
