Unable to connect to database. Please...

Hello,

when starting pokertracker I get this error message: Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration.

The program was working fine for months. No program installed nor firewall nothing new.

Can you help me?

There have been several people who report this sort of error. A couple of known workarounds:

(1) Reboot, things may then work properly.

(2) Stop the PostgreSQL service via Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Stop Service, then start PT3 before restarting PostgreSQL and that may get it working properly.

I tried both things. also reinstalled pt3 and postgresql. will format pc now and tell later
