The PT3 HUD only functions when hands are importing properly.

Perhaps you have a filter set? Try clicking Clear on the Texas Holdem tab and see if that helps.

Alternately, check where you are importing your hands to on the preferences tab of the auto import window. Make sure that database is set as active (Database --> Set Active Database) and see if that does it.

Check to make sure PostgreSQL is running by pressing ctrl+alt+del and clicking Task Manager. Switch to the Processes tab and if you don't see 'postgres' processes there, PostgreSQL isn't running. Try clicking Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Start Services to see if it starts up. If it doesn't, make sure that your firewall is configured to allow PostgreSQL full access to port 5432 as without it PostgreSQL won't function properly.

Did you install PostgreSQL? Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Start Services to start the PostgreSQL service. If you don't see the "Start Services" link or the PostgreSQL folder then you don't have PostgreSQL installed and you will need to download and install PokerTracker 3 Build 3 with PostgreSQL from our download page.

If you have PostgreSQL installed, the default values are:
Server: localhost
Port: 5432
User: postgres
Password: dbpass

If this password does not work for you, you can disable password authentication by following the directions of this tutorial.

I have it installed, I put in the password and it came to postgresql configuration screen. This has the same info as the last screen and a data base name "PT3 DB". When I hit "Create" i received this messgae, "Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 DB
Reason: Unable to execute query: CREATE DATABASE "PT3 DB" WITH TEMPLATE = template0 ENCODING = 'SQL_ASCII';; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: database "PT3 DB" already exists )". Now what do I need to do?

Check the "This Database Already Exist" box then click "Connect".
