How to install initdb manually on Win XP

now when i do that it ask me if i want to have postgres be a superuser and i can click y/n and when i click y i get "createuser could not connect to the database postgres fatal:database postgres does not exist" if i click no i get another question then a third if i click no to that but in the end i get the same response

I have the same problem.

database postgres does not exist ??
