I too am having this same problem. It was working fine until it just didn't. No change on the system, no firewall or anti-Virus things.

I'm using XP. I've submitted a support request and have attached a bunch of my oldest log files all zipped up.

Thanks for your help.

I've seen several different people with this problem with several different reasons for it.

What anti-virus and firewall software are you guys using?

One thing I came across today that might help for any of you running Windows XP:
If you have winsock errors in your PostgreSQL logs Winsock XP Fix might fix things for you.

OK- I think I know what's happening to all us XP users. If you have your settings on "download and install windows updates automatically" there was a recent update that occurred on the 15th or 16th. My data base problems started right after the windows update. This is a problem that Poker Tracker support should create a "canned" fix for since, if I'm right, it will cause widespread problems for many users.

I run on XP and have automatic updates on and haven't had any postgres problems, so I don't think it's a general issue - there must be something else too.
