No connection possible

Postby holymoly123 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:46 pm

Hey,

I installed pockertracker 3 and starting it I always get that message:

I already had elephant working, so I should have a proper PosteSQL working on my laptop and I tried deinstalling it but it did not help...

Best

Please follow the uninstall and resintall guide for PostgreSQL available here and that should get things working again for you.

Then try following this tutorial and let me know if that fixes things for you.

Click Start type Services.msc and click on it when it appears. Can you find PostgreSQL in the list? If so, is it started? If not, can you start it?

I'm having this same issue. I can't figure this out. I'm a long time Holdem Manager user of both 1 and 2. I decided to try the Poker Tracker 3 Free Trial only because Poker Tracker supports Yatahay network. I've google searched and I've done everything said, but I cant get it to connect.

When I go to Services.msc I can start it, but It will auto stop after it starts.

Problems like this are often caused by an overzealous firewall so please check our Firewall Guide.

If PostgreSQL was installed by HM then the password will be 'postgrespass' by default, so once PostgreSQL is running you'll probably need to use that to connect.

That password didn't work for me last night. I'm now at a point where I can't even get PostgresSQL to work on Holdem Manager. I've reinstalled everything, but nothing seems to work.
