Pokertracker 3 shuts down postgreSQL?

Thanks for the detailed summary, I've brought it to the attention of those heading the investigation into the cause of this problem and I'm hopeful we'll figure it out in the not too distant future.

We are working on a fix. Hopefully once we fix Oracle's problem it resolved yours as well.

Hi I'm receiving similiar problems as the above posters, however I cant even get pt3 to launch anymore. It just lingers in my taskmanager. Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled postgresql but to no avail, everytime I try to force start it, it just idles until it crashes. Should I reformat?

Before doing that, try ending PokerTracker from the task manager (press ctrl+alt+del, click task manager, go to the processes tab, choose one of the PokerTracker processes and click 'end task'), then click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Stop Services. Then restart PT3 and see if that gets things working for you.
