Upgrade to Postgresql 8.3

So, I uninstalled my Postgres8.2.
I downloaded Pstgres8.3 and installed it.

Did I just delete all my Pokertracker Databases??

I may have panicked a bit too early. It looks like the Postgre 8.2 directory is still there (phew!).
Is there a way I can move the 8.2 DBs over to the 8.3 directory?

Well,

I did what I should have done before posting my original post: I searched through the forum for an answer.
And I got what I was looking for.

I have to properly dump the 8.2 dbs and restore them into 8.3. OR I can just upgrade to 8.2.9 and continue to use my DBs without hassle. The latter is what I decided to do, for now.
