postgre is using 14GB of my hard dive.

i just upgraded to PT3 yesterday, and started to convert my PT2 database into PT3. i left it to do its thing over night to find that there was a "no space on disc" error msg in the morning. i had about 3GB of space before starting the action.

so i browse through to try and delete stuff to create space when i mouse over postgre folder, and it contains 14GB. i have 1 database that i know of that has roughly 1GB. i think it is this size because my processed files file is this big.

so pretty much all of the 14 GB's is in the C/postsgre/data/base folder.
in there, folder #
16403 is 5GB. this folder contains 4 files about 1GB each
26255 is 7.5GB, this fole caintains 4 files about 1GB each, and 2 files 500 Mb each

all i need is the one database with all my stats on it. i dont know what all these files are, or if i can delete them. can someone help me identify which ones i can delete.

thanks

NO - do NOT delete anything in the postgres folder. Those files are your database.
There is much more information in the database than the plain text files, so the database is always going to be bigger than the processed HH folder.

I had a similar problem, the solution I came up with was to export hh's, delete pt2 pt3 postgres then start with a fresh install and reimport the hh's. Be aware that it took me over a week to re-import 2M+ hh's.
