what does this mean and hoe sit resolved?

i dont get wht PT is so comlicated to install its really starting to piss me off

i was installing SQL 8.3 after i had installed poker tracker.

oviously you go through the menu of chossing a server name, user name, super user name, port etc

anf then when it get to actually intalling it at the end the message pops up.

Were you installing postgres manually?
Why? Didn't the "PT3 with postgres" installer work? This is the simplest way to install.
Are you using Vista?
Attn: Vista Users Installing PostgreSQL 8.3

Did you have postgres installed previously? This can cause complications due to the postgres "user" already being set up.
If you are already using postgres for something else, you don't need to install it again.
If not, see these directions for starting again. Note: Try the PT3 with postres installer before doing the manual install of postgres, and see if that works.
Total uninstall/reinstall of pt3
