Install Problems

Postby evilempire11 » Mon Oct 20, 2008 8:07 pm

I had PT2 and deleted it and my HUD from my control panel about a month ago. I then decided to get
PT3 yesterday. When it came time to install PostgreSQL it would load for awhile then give me an error saying some of the files on my C Drive
need to read/copied. It then rolls back all the previous install info. Obviously when I deleted the programs these files did not get deleted. When I go to
delete them it says some are still being used. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

You need to FULLY uninstall postgres - see this post: Total uninstall/reinstall of pt3.

Once you've uninstalled it, run the "PT3 with postgres" installer.
