Running PT3 in client/server mode

Postby tlukasha » Tue Nov 04, 2008 5:58 pm

Hi,

I would like to set-up a seperate PC to run the PT3 database, but run the GUI and HUD on another machine that I will only run the poker clients on, i.e. a classic client/server set-up. I assume this is possible. Do you have any instructions on how I would go about setting this up? I don't know much about networking - how would I get that set-up under Vista.

Thanks

You'll want to install PostgreSQL on the server; that's all that needs to be served is the database. For an explanation of how to network the database to make this a reality, please see this FAQ.
