Need to move PostreSQL to new hard drive

Hi all -

I just installed a second hard drive on my PC, and set the new drive as the master drive. I need to move all of my PostrgeSQL data from the slave drive to the master drive. I installed PostrgeSQL 8.2.6 on the master drive. Is moving the databases as simple as copy/pasting the PostgreSQL/8.2/data folder from the slave to the master? That almost seems too easy.

Hi Kraada - thanks, but when I try to open that link, I get a message that says that I am not authorized to view the forum. Is the thread the same as the one summarized by Dave here:
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=13122&p=61335&hilit=move+postgresql+database#p61335

??

Thanks.
