Just restarted windows and a message popped up as I was logging on telling me that postgres.exe has been corrupted and I need to run the chkdsk utility. Does this mean I will have to reinstall pokertracker or postgres.exe. What are the implications for my database? Have I lost that as well?

Please provide urgent help!

Did you run chkdsk?
Did it report any errors?
If something is corrupt on your disk then you will need to re-install postgres I guess.

This explains how to keep your existing databases - that should be fine unless there is damage to your hard disk which affects the bits where your database is stored.
