how to convert my ptv2 db to postgresql then import to ptv3?

I'm trying to convert my ptv2 db to ptv3 and don't know what to type in for user name/password/odbc entry to use/encoding.

That was Pat, not me. You'll need to go back there and ask him what you need to do in PT2 to convert your PT2 database to PostgreSQL. I bet he didn't realize what you were trying to do. Once your PT2 database has been converted to PostgreSQL, come back here if you still need help getting PT3 to convert it.
