STACK BUILDER ERROR "FAILED TO OPEN THE APPLICATION LIST:"

i was doing the manual instal on my Vista and all was going well until I got to page 18 of the PokerTracker3_Manual_Uninstall_Reinstall pdf file.

When I try do download the list of applications in order to download the psqlODBC V08.03.0400 driver I get an error message.

It states it "FAILED TO OPEN THE APPLICATION LIST: http://www.postgresql.org/applications-v2.xml error the url specified could not be opened."

so how will I get the driver?

Try skipping that step and see if everything else installs successfully; that step isn't necessary for 100% of users.

Okay I went to do that. I started afresh deleting the last instal per the above pdf file and hit another error.

This time the error happens after "initialize database cluster" stage and before "installation complete" i.e. it was before the Stack Builder loaded up. The error reads -
"could not connect to server:connection refused (0x0000274D/10061)
Is the server running in host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP CONNECTIONS ON PORT 5432?"

Any thoughts?

okay, I got it working (how I do not know) and it has imported my hand history that is stored on my HDD in the Boss Media folder.

The odd think is that it has only imported hands played in the month on Nov. 08. another little puzzle.......good fun this! (sort of).

Check you don't have a filter set - click "Clear".
Did you get any errors when you imported?
Did you use manual or auto import?
Are you sure you imported all you hand history files?
Are you sure you have histories for hands other than those imported?
