Installation problem - error message

Hi, I've had a number of problems trying to load PostgresSQL. I installed it, had problems, and then uninstalled it. I had a problem with one step of uninstalling which I could not figure out- "Delete PostgresSQL Service Account". I continued on skipping that step.

Then I followed your guide to installing which I had not done the first time. All went well until I got to Stack Builder 2.0.0 installation page where it says "All the installation files have now been successfully downloaded" and directs to click the Next button. But when I clicked Next I got an error msg saying "The installation of psqiODBC returned an error. Click on the OK button to ignore...Note that ignoring this error may result in failure of any later installations that depend on this one."

I am reluctant to just click OK here for fear of problems later.

Advice?

Jack

You will need to FULLY uninstall postgres before you can install it again.
Please follow the full steps in the guide: How to reinstall Postgres.

If you still have problems after that you can schedule a remote assistance session where someone can logon to your computer with you and directly troubleshoot/resolve the issue.
