Hi.... I'm having a lot of trouble installing PostgreSQL for Pokertracker 3 purposes. It makes it through until basically the end and then this pops up.

Image

I am running Windows XP Home edition w. service pk 2 for what it's worth.

After I go and check the read me file this is what comes up -

The files belonging to this database system will be owned by user "SYSTEM".
This user must also own the server process.

The database cluster will be initialized with locale English_United States.1252.
The default text search configuration will be set to "english".

creating directory C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data ... ok
creating subdirectories ... ok
selecting default max_connections ... 10
selecting default shared_buffers/max_fsm_pages ... 400kB/20000
creating configuration files ... ok
creating template1 database in C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data/base/1 ... child process exited with exit code 1
initdb: removing data directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data"

I'm stumped as what to do from here, if anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

The easiest thing to do will be to create a ticket using this link requesting a remote session and we'll get that fixed for you.
