Unable to configure database....

Hello,

I installed poker tracker 3 holdem tonight and when I try to run program it brings up a box that says:

Configure PostgreSQL Server

I try and put in password but doesnt work. I tryed dbpass and others but when I hit connect button I get another box that says:

Unable to configure database. Please check configuration.

My firewall is turned off so that isnt the problem either. I go to start and programs but the Postgre program isnt there. When I go under C drive its there but dont know if its installed. When I try to install from there it acts like its installed but doesnt seem to be running. Also as a note im running Windows 7 operating system. Could someone please help me get this issue resolved.

How did you install postgres? Did you do it manually, or did you run the PT3 "Full" installer, which should have set it up for you?
Try running the PT3 full installer and see if that sets it up for you. If not, follow this guide: How to reinstall PostgreSQL.
