Hello,

Im running windows 7. When i try and install Postgre manually I get to a error box that pops up and says Error.... User account already exists..... And then it rolls back install and wont install.
Any suggestions on how to fix this. Also Poker tracker 3 puts file on postgre file on computer but wont install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded Postgre manually and it now seems to be installed. I now go to PokerTracker3 and try to run program and still get Postgre configure box that bops up. Then when I hit connect using dbpass as password it pops up box that reads Unable to configure database. Please check the configuration. Ive tried removing the password like support page says but when I go to Postgre in programs there is no submenus so I cannot get to file extension so that I can change document to say trusted where other word appears. Im not sure what else to try. This program does not seem to like Windows 7 at all. My firewall is turned off, and im running as administrator. Any thing else I can try to make program function properly?

Hello

Yesterday i downloded Pokertracker free trial but i can t install postgreSQL.
I m getting message
Failed to run initdb 1 !
Please see the logfile in ˇC:/Program Files/PostgreSQ/8.3L/tmp/initdb.log
I look at that file and it saysThe files belonging to this database system will be owned by user "SYSTEM".
This user must also own the server process.

The database cluster will be initialized with locale Croatian_Croatia.1252.
initdb: could not find suitable text search configuration for locale Croatian_Croatia.1252
The default text search configuration will be set to "simple".

initdb: directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data" exists but is not empty
If you want to create a new database system, either remove or empty
the directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data" or run initdb
with an argument other than "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data".

How can i fix the problem. I tried to reinstall it but it didn t work.
Thanks

Uncheck the "Initialize Database" checkbox during the installation process and it should complete properly.
