Trying to restore my DB from a PC to MAC. Did the backup to the zip file and when I try to "restore" i get this error.

Can't Find: /Library/PostgreSQL/8.4/binpsql
This file is normally contained in /Library/PostgreSQL/8.x/bin. If you are using a remote install of PostgreSQL, you will need to install PostgreSQL on your local computer or, if possible and compatible, find this executable file on the server.

Are you certain that "Can't Find: /Library/PostgreSQL/8.4/binpsql" is exactly how the error looks? Or is it "Can't Find: /Library/PostgreSQL/8.4/bin/psql"?

I copied and pasted it directly from the error window.

Also, I can see the "psql" file in the "bin" folder, but it is asking for an "exe" file and all of these are grayed out. They seem to be Unix Executable files, but they are all grayed out in the "Find File" window.

Hrm that's very odd. Could you please report this issue and we'll investigate further.

Sure. But could it be a permissions issue?

It's possible; I don't know enough about the internals of the restore process to say for sure. Though that it should be "bin/psql" gives me pause for concern as well.

I just did and uninstall of both PT3 and PostgreSQL, reinstalled them both and got the same errors.

Did you report the issue as explained in the link I gave you earlier?

Just installed 30.7 and I'm still having the same error problem. I couldn't understand the instructions you provided in my error request ticket, so I was hoping that the next update would just fix this, but unfortunately no. Any ideas. I have a VERY limited understanding of the database side. I'm sure your instructions were about as simple as they could be, but they're greek to me....sorry.
