Checksum error - reinstalling PostgreSQL

I am reinstalling PostgreSQL as per in the instructions in this tutorial:

http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT ... greSQL.pdf

I can get all the way to the instructions on Page 19 where I need to select a database driver. When I choose the psqlODBC driver and hit "next" twice I get an error message:

Checksum verification failed for: edb_psqlodbc.exe! Deleting file...

Not sure if it's the problem, but the only driver I have available is:

psqlODBC v08.04.0100-1 (while the instructions reference psqlODBC v08.03.0400)

Actually all of the drivers on that list begin with v8.4...

I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling version 8.3.5, 8.3.7, 8.3.9 and still run into this issue.

Any ideas?

What version of PT3 did you have before? Was that 8.4? It sounds like something wasn't fully uninstalled.
I'll get one of our postgres experts to take a look at this thread.

You can skip that step, it isn't important.

My old version was 8.3.x, so I'm not sure why that was happening.

I should've tried just skipping the step in the first place, because you're correct, it worked without launching the stack builder. I'm good to go - thanks for you help.
