Is it possible to backup a database on a windows machine (XP) using pgAdmin then restore the database on a mac using pgAdmin? And vice~versa.

I run most everything on my windows desktop but I would like to install PokerTraker on my MacBook Pro and use th same database.

Yes that should work fine - you can also use the PT3 Backup system, those backups are portable cross platform.
