Okay. Just updated to Windows 7, and updating all of my imporatant updates on Windows7 and it turns out an update called The .NET Framework 4 Client Profile can not be installed wih Postgres. If I do install it before I run Poker tracker 3's installation, it will roll back installation of that important update. Can some one please explain to me why this would be a good idea to have a program that blocks windows important updates? Can any modeators please respond?

This is the first I've heard of any incompatibility between PostgreSQL and .NET.

Please report this problem so that we can investigate further.

I wish it was that simple. I tried to install the update after installing pokertracker, and it just fails. I though I might have a virus after detecting backdoor trojans with my scan right after a new install. So I started over. Reinstalled windows 7 and did all of the updates first including the .net update. When I went to install pokertracker and it got to the postgres part it said that system had installed a program that will not work with postgres would you like to remove it. I clicked yes, it rolled back the postgres installation and then installed postgres. But, of course now I cant install that update in Windows 7 it just fails.

Okay this is interesting. Now I was able to update the latest .net framework. But, I did completely delete all of my old windows files because of the backdoor poison and trojans I found in those files with a virus scan. Just to be sure I'm going to completely scan my computer again. Has anyone else encountered anything similar?

If anyone else has encountered anything similar, they haven't posted about it on these boards - I've never had this issue reported to me before, and I've read every post here.

Thanks. I decided it just isn't worth the risk to download or run any other programs but poker tracker and the poker rooms i use for playing poker. I will just use other computers to search online and run my other programs. Hacking seems to be at an all time high. I was hoping to find some one else that had hacking or postgres issues, but I trust you would remember if there was a post regarding that. So if anyone else reading this runs into my problem. Please post and tell us some more details about it. Thanks
