PostgresSQL password problem

PostgresSQL password problem

I got somebody to clean my computer when i got it back pt3 wasnt working. When i hit the create button from the configure database screen I get this message
unable to create postgressql database:
pt3_2011_01_150229
reason: unable to login to database (template1). reason:
fatal: password authentication failed for user "postgres"

The default password we use is 'dbpass' (without the quotes), but if that does not work you can remove the password requirement by following this tutorial. If you cannot follow the steps of that tutorial because PostgreSQL has been uninstalled in the cleaning, you will need to reinstall it in order for PT3 to function properly.
