I have a MacBook Pro and I have boot camp for windows. Im starting to play at cake a bit on windows and was wondering if there is a way to connect the windows database to the mac database because right now I have two databases and I would like to just have the one.

If you're rebooting your machine into Windows it's not going to be possible to share the same database. If you used Parallels or some other virtual computing software though, you could.

I was about to ask the same thing. What if the windows partition was FAT32; would that make it possible?

If you are going to use a database on your Mac then the Mac needs to be running so that the database server is active.

I was going to store the database on the bootcamp partition. My mac side can access all the files on the bootcamp partition due to it being a FAT32 format

As long as both sides can access it then I can't see why it wouldn't work. You'll still need to install PostgreSQL both on the Mac and the Windows side so that the respective operating system can talk to the database though - each will still need the various settings installed (database user, service configuration, etc). Make sure when you're doing that installation that you pick the same version for both sides - that will minimize any problems considerably.
Please also keep me posted on how this works out.

Either should work fine at this point - nobody has reported any problems with PostgreSQL 9.0 - just make sure you use the same version in both places and you should be good.

How does HUDs/Custom Stats work when using PT3 on two different systems?

You can copy your configuration between the two PT3 installations using the
Backup/Restore mechanism.
Be sure not to transfer the PokerTracker.CFG between two different operating systems, though.
