Hello I used to have postgres on my computer then uninstalled it because I didn't need it. I recently found out about pokertracker so i installed pokertracker and it didn't prompt me to install postgress. So I went to the postgres website and downloaded postgres installation. During the installation process it prompts you for a password for the database superuser and service account. It reads like this "Please provide a password for the database superuser and service account (postgres). If the service account already exists in Windows, you must enter the current password for the account" . So i tried the default passwords and some of my own and nothing works. I wouldn't of changed the default passwords anyway. I can't get passed this so i can't complete installation of postgres. I also tried changing the pg_hba.conf file for postgres 8.4 to method trust but that didnt do anything for me. Can anyone help?
