PokerTracker

I am having a problem. After i restarted my computer today i loaded up PT4 which hung for a while before telling me postresql wasn't running. I played around stopping/starting/restarting the service but it wouldn't start.



Next i read on here how to re-install and downloaded the latest version (8.4.11-1 for windows 7). The install went fine but after the service still wouldn't start. I have tried restarting the service from Tast Manager, services.msc and also via the start menu > PostrgeSQL 8.4.




Any idea's on how to get this working again? I have never had a problem before and was using my database <5mins before rebooting pc (not due to any updates).

wow, after a few hours of uninstalling allsorts and searching the net, i read http://forums.holdemmanager.com/poker-site-support/2189-those-you-who-cant-get-postgresql-start.html#post9984 post from years ago, disabled my wireless and postgresql-8.4 started right away!!!

My pokertracker 3 stopt working everytime I try to open it I get this message:
Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3_2012_04_10_015021
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Someone help please

Click Start, type services.msc and click on it when it appears. In the window that shows up, do you see PostgreSQL in the list?
