J'installe PostgreSQL pendant le chargement un cadre apparait.
Error
Failed to run initdb: 1!
Please see the logfile in 'C:\Program
Files\PostgreSQL\8.3\tmp\initdb.log'.
Note!You must read/ copy this logfile before you click OK,
or it will be automatically removed.

Please try the solutions in this thread. If that doesn't help please tell us what version of Windows you have.

Windows XP

It should work fine with XP Home - what firewall/anti-virus are you using? Depending on how you have those configured they could cause this error.
Please check our Firewall Guide to make sure you have your security software set up correctly if you have any of the listed applications.

Avast antivirus

Please follow the directions in the Firewall Guide.
