Hey, i crasshed my POstgreSQL. i then uninstalled it and deleted the folder.
to delete my postgres user i go to cmd right click run as administrator and then type in net user postgres ⁄delete. it than says deleting was sucesfull but when i type in net user postgres is still there. And when i try to install postgreSQL i get asked for a password so the user still exists.

How can i delete the user??

That should delete the user - the installer asks you for a password and then whatever you supply is used to recreate the user.

it doesnt delete the user. when i try to install postgresql 8.4 it says:

the password specified was incorrect. Please enter the correct password for postgres windows user account.

Is there another way to delete a user account other than the cmd thing, because even though i run it as administrator it doesnt delete anything.

That's the only method I've ever used and I've done hundreds of uninstalls and reinstalls. Please create a support ticket requesting remote assistance with me to resolve this issue and we'll get you squared away.
