Connection refused error

After launching PT3 for the first time i have the following error :

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Do you have PostgreSQL installed on your computer?

I installed the bigger file of PT3, so I belive yes.

Did PT3 ask if you wanted to allow it to install PostgreSQL? If so, did you allow it?

Hey guys, I was having the exact same problem as Alex, down to the letter. I corrected it by 1.) running as Administrator and 2.) allowing PokerTracker3 through my firewall. I don't recommend turning off your firewall like another person on this forum did, but if you're running on Vista you do have the option to allow programs through the firewall. Hope this helps...

I reinstalled PostgreSQL 8.3 separatelly again.
This fixed the problem.
