I just got a new laptop and installed pt3. PostgreSQL shows up as a separate user on the login screen. Is this correct?

I still haven't used pt3 properly on my new laptop so unsure if there are any problems.


(laptop is macbook pro by the way)

That's expected behavior; you need to leave that user around as it is required for PostgreSQL to function properly. I can dig up some instructions on how to make it not show up on the login screen if that is an issue for you.
