PostgreSQL disabled my windows admin account

PostgreSQL disabled my windows admin account

When I installed PstgreSQL 9.0 it disabled all of my ability to edit any settings or access task manager, install programs, system restore, etc. I cannot edit or add an account to Windows 8. Any suggestions?

Are you logged into Windows as the postgres user? That user needs to be there but you should not log in as it; that user is only there for running the PostgreSQL system.
