Hey!

After multiple installations got pt3 and postresql working.. Worked fine for a while.

Then suddenly "Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: server closed the connection unexpectedly This probably means the server terminated abnormally before or while processing the request".

Cant get it working anymore? Any ideas?

Running on Vista.

Same here, after updating to v3.00 build 2.
I also installed vista sp1 in hopes that would help. Did not.

I'm just going to tag onto this one. I'm having the same problem.

And I have edited the config to remove password dependency.

And I have Stopped and Started Services and that didn't work.

So please tell me how to get this working.

Argh

This happens to me everytime I reboot my computer. I need to manually stop and start the PostgreSQL service and then it works again.. Quick fix:

I have my windows in different language, but I try to help. Control panel -> Administrator -> Services , Find PostgreSQL from the list. Click it. The first page in the bottom you can stop and start it. Stop it first and then start it again.
