Hello,

I am planning to format my drive and reinstall all software, including PT3.

What is best to do, to install postgreSQL and the latest PT3 update? Or is there a PT3 file that includes the database installation?
I am not worried about my HH's, they are old and can be removed.

OS is vista 32bit.

To keep your settings; go to File > Backup and make a backup which you copy to your new machine.
On your new computer simply install the current version of PT3 and it will install PostgreSQL for you, then restore your backup using File > Restore.
