HI I have been using poker tracker on a vm for years and had the data base installed on a usb drive connected to said vm for portability with no problems.

i'm playing on a lap now and was wondering how to attach same usb drive to router and use it as network attached storage for poker tracker 4 data base.

ive got a fritz! box router and can see drive on vm but before I had to attach drive to start postgres via usb

I'm sure it can't be to complicated but not sure where to start!

I'm afraid that's not something I have particular experience with. If your router has documentation on how to set up a NAT drive you might want to start there.

Assuming your server is running Windows, easiest thing then is to just map the NAT drive and install PostgreSQL directly to it.
